To quote a classic, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!" Christmas is coming, and here in Central Texas, a White Christmas is just something you hear about. Not this year. Chip and Joanna Gaines plan to bring the snow to this years Christmas at the Silos in Waco.

Drive around Central Texas and you'll see the start of all the holiday decorations going up. Lots of holiday shopping deals have been announced, and Chip and Joanna are getting into the Christmas spirit with the announcement of Christmas at the Silos.

This year promises to be the best yet.

A full month of holiday fun is in store for family and friends, complete with a Christmas Tree, lots of lights and … snow? Yep, that flakey white stuff.

Festivities get started immediately following Thanksgiving: Friday November, 26 through December 23.

Extended shopping hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-8p, plus the kids can meet Santa himself. Santa will be at the fireplace at the Magnolia Press, and they suggest making a reservation for the visit.

Santa gets pretty busy this time of year visiting all the kids. Click HERE to reserve a time and to find out more info. You will need to bring your own camera for the pictures, and best of all it's free.

Story Time with Mrs. Clause will be back this year too. Mrs. Clause will be reading classic Christmas stories in the Old Church.

Christmas at the Silos promises to be fun for the entire family, and is located in Downtown Waco at Magnolia Market at the Silos, 601 Webster Ave, Waco, Texas.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
