2018 has gotten off to a very frigid start with temperatures barely getting out of the 20's, and the icy temps are looking to be sticking around for the foreseeable future.

With these icy temperatures, many Central Texans have been wondering whether there might be any chance of snow hitting the ground and sticking.

Tuesday morning, many in the area of Copperas Cove and Killeen received some light snow, and some went out to enjoy it.

KWTX's Brian Germ says there is a chance for light snow in Central Texas through late Tuesday afternoon. So if you haven't got any yet, keep those fingers crossed - there is still hope!
