Texans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their vehicle registration is one less thing to worry about in this time of uncertainty.

According to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, certain requirements for vehicle registration, vehicle tilting, and disabled parking placards will be waived temporarily due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor Abott and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles worked together to set a 60-day temporary waiver for all vehicle owners in Texas. Once the TxDMV notifies the public that normal operating procedures have resumed, the 60-day period will begin. All TxDMV's will share the same 60-day period.

I honestly was worried about getting my inspection and registration done, because who wants to worry about that along with everything else going on? If this had happened before the whole Texas Two Step thing then I would just renew online and be done, but now we all have to get our inspection done which obviously is something that has to be done in person.

Any other Texans miss the days before the Texas Two Step?
