Street Closures in Temple Begin Monday for Bloomin’ Temple Festival
If you travel in Downtown Temple for any reason, be alert. Street Closures begin Monday.
Sure the Bloomin' Temple Festival is fun for all, but it can be a pain for some. The City of Temple Parks & Recreation released a statement earlier today to announce the first wave of street closings.
The "fun" begins Monday at 6 a.m. as the carnival arrives in town and begins its setup. At that time, East Central Ave and South 4th Street will be blocked. The intersection will still be open to north and southbound traffic.
The intersection of East Central Ave and South 6th Street will be closed.
The intersection of East Ave "A" and South 6th Street will be blocked, but the intersection will still be open to east and westbound traffic.
If you have business with the Bell County Annex, you will need to enter and exit via 4th Street.
More street closures will be announced later due the Bloomin' Temple Festival. All roads will be back to normal by 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 3rd.
