Feral Hogs

A man in Houston defended his life and property against a feral hog who attempted to charge at him. Thanks to a secret weapon and his faithful canine companion, the man was able to fend off the wild animal.

Feral hogs have been a worry in the Lone Star State for a while. Recently, they harmed a park in the state greatly.

Starting September 1, Texas landowners will no longer have to deal with bureaucrats when they shoot a wild hog on their property.

The office of Texas Ag Commissioner Sid Miller has approved the use of a warfarin-based pesticide trap to combat what he calls the "feral hog apocalypse", but some hunters are concerned about the impact the poison could pose to humans and other wildlife.
