A 19-year-old Marlin man remained in the Bell County Jail Sunday after being arrested Friday in connection to a shooting at a Temple park.

KWTX reports that Deante Amari Spencer is one of two men suspected of approaching a car at Wilson Park in April, trying to get inside, then firing a shot into the vehicle when they were unable to gain access. Two people were in the car. The bullet reported shattered the driver side window and hit the passenger side door. The driver accelerated and struck another vehicle in the parking lot. Spencer and the other suspect then reportedly fled the scene in a pickup reported stolen from Waco.

According to jail records, Spencer was booked into the Bell County Jail at 5:37 PM Friday and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $100,000.

The second suspect remains at large.
