Over the weekend, thieves, believed to be teenagers, broke into vehicles along Winchester and Remington Streets in Killeen.

Tabitha Madrid received a call from her bank alerting her that someone was attempting to charge $698 with her card online. When she went to get her wallet from her car, she found the doors of the vehicle ajar and several items were missing.

The thieves broke into a number of vehicles and shifted through the contents. Unwanted items were discarded in the street.

Police believe the culprits were likely teenagers trying to make money.
