Temple City Attorney Kayla Landeros Announces Resignation
Temple's City Attorney announced Monday that she plans to step down in September.
Kayla Landeros said she will leave the office on September 20, 2019. According to Heather Bates with the City of Temple, Landeros has accepted a position at the Waco office of Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee, PLLC. She will continue to serve as an Adjunct Professor at Baylor Law School.
Landeros was appointed City Attorney on November 13, 2014, and has worked with the City of Temple for seven years. She's previously worked as the Deputy City Attorney, Interim City Attorney, and City Attorney.
The Temple City Council plans to hod an executive session on Monday, May 13 to discuss filling the position.
