Police are investigating after a high school student was abducted at a bus stop early Thursday morning.

Temple Police Department spokesman Cody Weems reports that the student, whose name and age have been withheld, was waiting for a school bus at the corner of West Avenue O and South 9th Street between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM when four African-American men approached him and forced him into a silver sedan.

Weems said the student was alone at the bus stop when the kidnapping occurred. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not available Thursday afternoon.
