This is why we can't have nice things.

A locally owned restaurant in Temple was broken into Thursday morning, and the owners have released images of a man they believe responsible.

The images were posted to private Facebook Group Temple, TX - City Watch Friday. I reached out to the uploader, who, along with her family, gave us permission to publish them here in hopes that someone out there might recognize the individual.

I sent an email to the Temple Police Department to see if they could give me any additional information about the reported break-in.

Temple PD Media Relations Specialist Cody Weems tells me officers responded to Mee Mee's Thai Cuisine, 2807 W Adams Avenue, around 8:20 AM Thursday, February 6. Officers were advised that an unknown individual entered the restaurant, caused damage to the inside of the building, then made off with the safe.
