Texas Authorities Round Up 64 White Supremacists
The Texas Department of Public Safety conducted an investigation that has led to the arrest and convictions of 64 white supremacists.
According to the United States Department of Justice, 64 members of white supremacists gangs such as Aryan Circle, Aryan Brotherhood, the Peckerwoods, Soldiers of Aryan Culture, and the Dirty White Boys have been convicted and sentenced to to a combined 820 years in federal prison.
The individuals associated with these gangs were responsible for trafficking an assortment of drugs like meth, cocaine, and heroin. February 13th marked the end of the second round of prosecutions in the nation's largest prosecution of white supremacist gang affiliates.
More than half of those convicted had a long list of previous violent convictions. U.S. Attorney Erin Nealy Cox explained the benefits of removing these criminals from the streets stating, "Not only do white supremacist gangs endorse repugnant ideologies, they also facilitate a violent drug and gun trade, putting our citizens in grave danger.”
The only question I have is, when's round 3?
