Texas Boy Shoots Himself Accidentally

KWTX reported that a three year old boy is in critical condition after accidentally shooting himself.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday evening near Hockley, Texas, which is in the Houston area.

The three year old that shot himself is the stepson to a Harris County sheriff’s deputy. The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at a home.

The child was rushed to a hospital, and underwent surgery immediately for the gunshot wound.

Authorities are unsure of how the toddler got possession of the gun, and the shooting was still under investigation Wednesday.
