Texas Teen Mows American Flag on Lawn to Honor of Fallen Soldier, Friend
17-year-old Cameron James from Hazlet, Texas was friends with 21-year-old U.S. soldier Kevin Christian when they were Boy Scouts years ago.
Last Sunday, while patrolling the US-Mexico border, Christian died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Affected by the death of his friend, James mowed his lawn to resemble the American flag.
He told KTVT/CNN that his friend was missed and that he wanted to pay tribute to someone he considered a role model. He mowed his lawn on different settings and used a weed eater to finish.
As you can see, he did a very good, very patriotic job!
