There Are 2 Movies Currently Being Filmed Here In Texas With Big Name Actors

Stop it right now! My little Texan heart can't take it! There are 2 big movies currently being filmed in Texas and I cannot. Along with big movies, come big movie stars and I only heard buzz on one of them. (technically 2 if you count this celebrity's girlfriend coming to visit from time to time)

Awhile back rumor was that Ben Affleck was going to start filming in the Austin area. Post Bennifer 2.0 and there was also buzz that Ben and Jen were planning on getting a place together while he is visiting our beloved Lonestar State.

Now we have more deets. This past Saturday the 16th Ben was spotted on set of the new film titled Hypnotic, directed by Robert Rodriguez. Ahhhhh yes, now it all makes sense, Rodriguez is a Texan, born and raised.

Brief synopsis of the film, it's a thriller about a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter. Apparently filming began recently and Ben was spotted on set at Mueller Lake Park in Austin, (I looked it up of course) one of the bigger public parks in Austin and close by Robert Rodriguez Troublemaker Studios.

Meanwhile, a mere 5 hours away from here and also in Central, TX, the city of Hutto, TX confirmed that a production crew/film company had arrived in their town. Filming began earlier this month on Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs.

It is based on a true story and is being produced by actress Nicole Kidman. According to mysanantonio.com,

"two church going couples enjoying small town family life in Texas until somebody picks up an axe."

Avengers:Age of Ultron actress Elizabeth Olsen is in the movie that will be filmed in Hutto and also in Kyle, TX.

Looks like a road trip needs to be in my future! lol
