This Killeen, Texas Restaurant Is Coming Back and Help Is Wanted

Want to be a 'Kilt Girl'? Know someone who does? Here's some good news. Remember the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery? The restaurant is still temporarily closed in Killeen, Texas, but has just announced it will reopen soon.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, the sports bar is currently hiring staff and plans to open again this June.

We are looking for 80-100 people to bring on board for a reopening expected within the next two months.

What Happened to Tilted Kilt?

The Tilted Kilt has been closed since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Last March, the Killeen Daily Herald reported the sports bar had been closed for over a year, and there was no announcement on its website or Facebook page to suggest when or if it would be reopening.

Last week, a work crew was spotted at the restaurant adding an expansion to the building at 2900 E. Central Texas Expressway.

Who Owns Tilted Kilt?

In 2018, Arc Group Incorporated bought Tilted Kilt for $10, and assumed $1.8 million in debt along with $1.5 million in future payment obligations. Tilted Kilt has 9 restaurants currently open across the country, with plans to reopen the Killeen location as well as one in Laredo, according to the company’s website.
