Toys for Troops 2018 Was a Huge Success Thanks to You, Central Texas
When Operation Phantom Support and Townsquare Media teamed up to ask you for help putting toys under the trees of military and veteran families in need right here in Central Texas, you answered the call with a mountain of generosity.
We know our friends and neighbors are giving people, so we expected Toys for Troops to be successful. However, we never imagined just how successful!
We had two SUVs and one poor sedan stuffed to the brim with donations from you guys when we pulled up to Operation Phantom Support at 401 N 8th St in Killeen this morning, and that was just a fraction of the overall donations. More arrived as we were unloading, and someone brought even more to our studios while were were unloading all of this.
Central Texas, thank you so much from the bottom of our heart. You've shown that the Fort Hood community always has the back of its men and women in uniform, especially when they're in need of Christmas cheer.
Thank you for making Toys for Troops such a massive success, and we can't wait to see you next year.
Also, a special thanks to all our sponsors who donated space in their businesses and the time of their staff in the true spirit of giving.
