Two people were hospitalized Thursday after a truck rolled on Airport Road in Temple.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., a Ford pickup truck veered from the road and overturned multiple times in the 7700 block of Airport.

Both the 22-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle by Temple Fire and Rescue. The driver was transported to Scott and White Hospital with minor injuries. The passenger was airlifted to Scott and White in stable condition.

Both were wearing seatbelts.

Officials say driver fatigue was likely the cause of the accident. The names of the victims have not been released.
