Universities across America are suspending classes and asking students to move off campus, leaving some with no where to go.

According to a press release from U-Haul, the company will offer 30-days of free self-storage to college students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

U-Boxes, which are portable moving and storage containers are also included in this offer.

The offer is available to new customers with college ID's. Visit uhaul.com/storage to find and contact your nearest store.

In the past U-Haul has offered free storage to communities affected by natural disasters, but this is the first time that an offer like this has been extended company-wide.

President of the company, John Taylor announced "More and more universities are giving instructions to leave campus and go home. Students and their parents are in need of moving and storage solutions. We have the expertise and network to help, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”

Despite the chaos of the world right now, it's nice to see people and companies come together in this time.
