Video Shows Tornado That Struck Dallas Sunday Night

Video captured by Twitter user @AthenaRising shows a tornado that struck Dallas Sunday night illuminated by lightning.

The Associated Press reports that the tornado hit near Love Field Airport and moved northeast through Dallas around 9 PM. Thankfully there were no reported deaths or serious injuries, but there were reports of people having been hospitalized for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.

Weather.com reports that more than 150,000 homes and businesses were without power Monday morning, and several buildings were damaged or collapsed by high winds.

Dallas' tornado was one of three that touched ground Sunday night as severe weather ripped across the South and Midwest.
