KWTX's Chris Shadrock reported that an eventg in the Central Texas area was cut short by the inclimate weather on Saturday.

Waco Pride Network’s “Out on the Brazos 2018” was held in Cameron Park on Saturday. Even with the rainy weather. numerous people were still out and about for the event.

There were numerous vendors on hand, music, food trucks, and skits that added to the entertainment of the event.

This was the second year of the event being held in the area by the Waco Pride Network.

Before the rain hit at the event, organizers were expecting the attendance of this years event to trump last year's turnout.
