West EMS Volunteer Arrested – Allegedly In Possession Of Destructive Device

Volunteer EMS worker Bryce Reed, 31, is being held in the McLennan County Jail on suspicion of possessing possible bomb making materials.

Reed was arrested Thursday and faces charges of possession of a destructive device. Authorities are saying that there is no indication that Reed was involved in the fertilizer plant explosion that devastated West last month.

Reed was frequently interviewed by the media after the explosion in West. He is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate judge today.
