Killeen police are investigating after two people reportedly robbed a local burger joint in broad daylight.

Police were called to Wiso Phat Burgers at 421 Liberty Street around 11 AM Tuesday. Employees told responding officers that two men approached a pair of employees, displayed a weapon, and demanded money. The employees complied with the suspects' demands, and the two men fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect was described as a heavy-set black man standing between 6'1" and 6'2", and was last seen wearing what police described as a bright orange and yellow headscarf. No information on the second suspect was available.

Violent Crimes Unit detectives are asking anyone who may have seen something or may have information about the robbery to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477),, or via the P3Tips app.

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
