Woman Hospitalized After Crashing Car Into Temple Home

A woman was hospitalized Monday after crashing her car into a home on South 36th Street in Temple.

Temple Fire & Rescue crews were dispatched to the 800 block of S. 36th at 2:02 PM. When they arrived, they learned that the driver of a black sedan had experienced a medical emergency before crashing into vehicle parked in a driveway, then into the home.

The driver was conscious and speaking with emergency responders, and was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for an assessment.

Damage to the house was minor, and no one was displaced.
