Belton Man Goes Missing After Trip to Salado

UPDATE: The family of the missing man posted an update to Facebook Wednesday evening indicating that the man was found safe.


 

A Central Texas family is asking for the public’s help locating an elderly man who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

LaJoy Amthor posted a picture of her grandfather to Facebook at 8:50 PM. She said he left Belton to visit the Salado feed store around 3 PM and never made it home.

The man was driving a silver 2001 Ford F-250 extended cab pickup.

If you see this man, please call your local police department.
