The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services are asking for the public's help locating a 13-year-old boy who went missing from Spring, Texas in September.

Anthony Porch was last seen leaving the home of his foster family on Thursday, September 29. His foster family said he appeared to be unhappy about something.

Porch is an African-American boy with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Porch may wear glasses at times.

Officials believed Porch might have traveled to San Antonio after reports that he was with family there. However, a special investigator said that does not appear to be the case. They now believe he may be staying at the home of a friend, though they haven't specified where.

Anyone who sees Anthony Porch or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to please call Cheryl Craver at (713) 748-9675, 1-800-THE-LOST, or the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 1-713-221-6000.
