A man and wife from Killeen have reportedly pleaded guilty to horrific charges of sexually exploiting children ranging in age from infancy to fourteen years.

Paul J. Gately with our news partner, KWTX, reports that 26-year-old Christopher Almaguer and his wife, Sarah Rashelle Almaguer, appeared before a U.S. District Judge in Waco Tuesday. The pair pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children and one count of production of child pornography. Both face 15 to 30 years in federal prison for each count. Their sentencing is scheduled for January 29, 2019.

Sarah Rashelle Almaguer's brother-in-law, Paul Perez Jr., agreed to a plea deal in connection to this case in September. He faces sentencing on December 11, 2018.

The three caught the attention of U.S. Secret Service agents in February of 2018 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted the Texas Attorney General's Child Exploitation Unit of a disturbing report from Facebook.

The social media giant reported images and videos appearing to show children engaging in sexual activity.

Federal agents served a search warrant at Almaguer's home at 1101 North 4th Street and took Sarah Almaguer into custody. Her phone was seized, and a forensic search reportedly revealed several explicit videos of children.

Sarah Almaguer told authorities she'd been having an affair with Perez Jr., during which they'd produced and distributed child pornography with children as young as six months of age. Perez would reportedly request that Sarah perform sexual acts with children, then send him images and video via Facebook Messenger.

Unfortunately, Gately reports that Christopher and Sarah Almaguer have five children together. Police have not said if the children were among those exploited by the pair and Perez.
