Killeen Man Indicted for Evading Arrest

A man who led police on a chase in January was indicted Wednesday by a Bell County grand jury. 

33-year-old Roberto Sanchez Torres was indicted as a repeat offender on a charge of evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

Around 10 p.m. on January 17, Police attempted to stop Torres for speeding and running a stop sign. Torres sped away from officers and led them on a chase before stopping in the 700 block of Northside Street. He was arrested at gunpoint.
