Speeding SUV Blamed for Stalled I35 Traffic Near Troy
If you were stuck in syrupy slow traffic on I35 near Troy Thursday morning, you can thank a speeding motorist who caused a crash.
The collision occurred around 6:45 AM near southbound exit 308.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials say the driver of an SUV was traveling at unsafe speed and struck an 18-wheeler, causing it to jackknife.
The driver of the SUV was thrown from the vehicle and was later transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
The scene was cleared shortly before 9 AM.
