UPDATE: Jeremiah Thomas has been found safe. The Beeville Bee-Picayune reports that he was located in Karnes County. His mother, Shannon Thomas, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

An AMBER Alert was issued Monday for a 9-year-old child from Beeville, Texas who's been missing since late Sunday night.

Jeremiah Thomas is described as a Black male with brown eyes and black hair weighing 65 pounds and standing 4'6". He was last seen on November 15 in the 800 block of South Live Oak Street in Beeville at 10:23 PM.

Police have reason to believe Jeremiah is with 32-year-old Shannon Thomas, a Hispanic woman with brown hair and brown eyes weighing 130 pounds and standing at 5'4".

Thomas and Shannon were last seen in a stolen green 2014 Chevrolet Sonic with Texas license plate GCW5960.

If you spot either Jeremiah, Shannon, or the car, you're asked to please contact the Beeville Police Department at (361) 358-8100 or your local police department.
