Taco night is seriousness business, especially when grandma's cooking.

You know a family member truly loves and cares for you when she goes out of her way to remind you about taco night, as a woman captured in the Ring doorbell footage below did for her family. (Thanks to KABB for sharing this with the world.)

The woman is heard saying she tried to call, but everyone was busy. I sincerely hope they dropped whatever they were doing to make it, because A) missing taco night would be tragic and B) grandma obviously wants the company and to be sure her family is fed and happy. That's incredibly sweet.

Many of the comments on the video are from people reminding everyone to make time for the elders in their lives, with some lamenting not having done so while those elders were still with us. That's certainly a great lesson to take from this. Those relatives miss you and think of you often, and the time with them is precious.

Back in 2015, my mother came down with pneumonia in both lungs. She was in the ICU for almost two months, and the aggressive treatment did a number on her lungs. She's fought hard to recover and still has a ways to go, but I'm really proud of her. She lives with me now, and I try to make the most of our time together. Almost losing her made me realize how precious that time is.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go get some tacos.
