Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily Wilkinson, had just finished dinner when they saw a Unidentified Flying Object over Lake Travis in the Austin area. He immediately took it to Twitter.

“Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner… we stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it… Very bright ball of light going straight down out of the sky towards Lake Travis. Anybody else witness this?”, he tweeted.

Things didn't go quite as expected, as his followers had some fun after his announcement. Check out Baker's Twitter page for a good laugh.

Earlier this week, people in Las Vegas reported seeing some unusual activity in the sky as several reports were made in regards to some mysterious lights up there. The Federal Aviation Administration said that those lights were “flares from the NW military ranges.” (That's exactly what I would expect them to say.)

An American Airline pilot reported seeing something strange last Sunday while flying from Cincinnati to Phoenix. According to a report from Forbes and audio taken from the aviation blog Deep Black Horizon, the pilot said, “Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us, I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing moving really fast right over the top of us.”

Am I the only one yet to see a UFO? Have you seen one? Let us know in the comments below.
