Baylor Bears Men’s Basketball Going Dancing!
KWTX reported that the Baylor Men's Basketball team will be participating in the NCAA tournament.
The Baylor Bears are entering the NCAA tournament on a four game losing streak, but their performance throughout the year still got them to the big dance.
Baylor has been seeded as a 9 seed in the the West region, and finished the season with a record of 19-13.
Baylor will play against the 8 seed in the West region; the Syracuse Orange. The Orange finished the season with a record of 20-13, and their 2-3 zone will be a challenge for the Baylor Bears squad.
The two will face off in Salt Lake City on Thursday, and the Bears will hope for a better result this time around against the Orange.
The Bears have played the Orange two previous times in 2006 and 2013; both ending up as losses for the Bears.
If the Bears are able to make it past the Orange, they could face the number 1 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs in the next round.
