Central Texas anglers can get on the water this weekend (Saturday, August 22) to fish for a fantastic cause.

The 2nd Annual Anglers for Aiden Bass Fishing Tournament will launch from Lake Belton's Cedar Ridge Park.

Entry will be $120 per team, with a guaranteed prize of $1,000 for first place, $500 for best big bass, and $300 for biggest smallmouth bass.

You can get preregistered from 5pm to 8pm Friday, August 21 at Sunset Pavillion, or stop by the pavilion Saturday morning to get registered. They'll be set up at 5 AM Saturday.

Fishing will take place from safe light to 1 PM Saturday, and there'll be a free fish fry with adult beverages for registered participants. A silent auction with some cool prizes will going on along with live music as well, so don't miss out.

Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Aiden Strong Scholarship Fund to benefit students right here in Central Texas, so rest assured your money is going to a great cause while you're out enjoying an awesome day of fishing on our beautiful Lake Belton.



The Anglers for Aiden Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament honors the life of Aiden Martin of Little River-Academy, who, in 2018, passed away at age 14 following an ATV rollover accident.
