If you have never been to Bell County Flea Market in Belton, Texas and you are a person who loves thrifting, you need to get there as soon as possible.

Thrifter's Paradise in Belton, Texas

This past weekend, my husband and I had nothing planned and wanted to see more of Central Texas since we usually stick to the west side of Bell County. The first stop was Belton, where we decided to check out the Bell County Flea Market at 1930 George Wilson Road. If you’re anything like me and get a thrill from thrifting, your jaw will drop the moment you enter the place.

COME OUT TO THE FLEA MARKET

There is so much going on at the Bell County Flea Market. You could find any appliance you need for your house while shopping for lawn care or even skincare items, and enjoy shopping for some of the freshest fruits and vegetables that I’ve seen in Central Texas.

I am adamant about fresh produce. That usually involves going to the farmers market, and this flea market is now on my list of places to find the good stuff.

You can find all kinds of crazy stuff out there too, so you have to get out there and explore the area. If you see a gentleman with two huge pythons wrapped around his neck, you’ve gone too far into the weird end of the flea market. But hey, if that's your thing, you'll have a great time.

ATMs are available there, and the items are absolutely cheap. It's a thrifter's dream come true.

There's a florist out there as well who has some of the most beautiful plants to spruce up your place or make someone's day. If you find yourself not knowing exactly what to do and you just want to enjoy some people watching or treasure hunting in Central Texas, I suggest stopping by the flea market Saturday or Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Happy Sunday Funday!

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
