Big Q Tip – Just Say No to Prom

For the second year in a row, the price of going to prom went up.  Each year Visa does a survey to see what the average cost of prom runs.  This year its...are you kidding me!?

The average price to go to prom this year is 1,139 dollars!  That's up 5% from last year.  Parents, here's a Big Q Tip for you.  Don't send your kid to prom.  If they're lucky enough to get a date, send both of them on a 3 day cruise.  No tuxes, no fancy dresses, both of which, lets be honest, will be strewn on the floor if the night is a sucsex, sorry, success.  Just send the kids to the Bahamas for 3 days.  It took me 5 minutes to find a 3 day, all inclusive, cruise for 99 dollars.  Add in the price of gas to get to the departure point, you're still saving close to a grand.  You can put that money toward the college fund, and the youngins' will have an amazing "prom" experience.  If you wanna splurge, send them to the boat in a limo.
