It's a shame when people put their trust in social media influencers online, then it turns out those influencers have intentions of scamming people. Well, now one popular Texas social media influencer is accused of just that.

Brittany Dawn Accused of Scamming Her Followers

You may have seen videos made by Texas fitness social media influencer Brittany Dawn in the past.

According to the Dallas Morning News, she's accused of violating consumer protection laws and misleading followers with eating disorders.

As early as 2014, her LLC, Brittany Dawn Fitness sold online fitness packages that cost between $300 to $1000 to consumers.

Customers were reportedly under the impression that their plans would be individualized and that Davis would provide coaching and check-in‘s. Customers say that never happened, according to a lawsuit filed by the Texas Attorney General‘s office.

Texas Attorney General Is Suing Her

In a lawsuit filed February 1st, the Texas Attorney General got fed up with the unlawful practices Britney allegedly used, and is now seeking between 250,000 and $1 million in penalty and court fees.

Her Apology

Back in 2019, Britney  issued an apology to her customers, offering partial refunds to customers affected by the alleged scam:

Massive Social Media Following

She's also making money behind her massive social media following, which includes over 250,000 followers on Youtube, 460,000 followers on Twitter, and over 945,000 followers on Tiktok .

The Dallas Morning News reports she received a PPP loan of $20,8000 for her fitness business.

If the allegations prove to be true, hopefully the money she is being sued for is returned to the customers she's accused of duping!

Wow! What I Saw When I Turned Left Inside Buc-ee's In Temple, Texas [PICS]

As the saying goes... everything's bigger in Texas.

Having said that, I've never seen a gas station with more than 50 gas pumps.

Then I visited Buc-ee's.

What is Buc-ee's?

If you don't know or have never visited the popular one-stop highway shop that has over 35 Texas locations in Texas, you need to!

You can get everything in Buc-ee's from gas, to keychains to candles to brisket to goat milk soap and everything in between.

Buc-ee's Has Expanded

According to their site, Buc-ee's, not only has multiple locations here in Texas, they have expanded to southern states like Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

The World's Largest Buc-ee's Coming Soon

Later this year, Buc-ee's has plans to open "The World's Largest Buc-ee's" located in Sevierville, Tennesse. It will have 120 fuel pumps, a 250-foot car wash, and 74,000 square feet of indoor shopping.
Yikes!

I've Never Turned Left

In almost 7 years, I've been here in Texas, I've never turned left when I went inside a Buc-ee's.

I either walk straight to the bathroom or turn right to get water or gummy bears or chocolate almonds. (I get the same thing every time)

But yesterday, I decided to turn left and (I know I'm late) I was mesmerized!

For starters, I never had a reason to turn left.

I've visited the one in Waller County, Bastrop, and the Temple location.

Every time I've visited Buc-ee's, I've never had a reason to go "shopping" always a bathroom break and then back on the road.

So here are some of the cool things I saw when I turned left at Buc-ee's in Temple, Texas!

While we are in the beginning stages of winter 2022, some people may feel as if there aren't many activities to do while it's somewhat cold outside. You do know that there are tons of indoor places where you can have just as much fun as you would if it was 90 degrees outside, right?

But just where are they? I'll tell you: Right here in Central Texas!

Here Are 6 New Businesses That Opened In Killeen, Texas in 2021

I've watched the local news for a long time just to get in tune with current events weather etc.
Once a week there used to be a food critic who had a feature on the news, and he would visit different restaurants in the city and taste their food on camera.

Tamika, one of our account executives here at the station, saw the same types of food reviews on the news and suggested it would be a good idea that I do the same thing with businesses and restaurants here in Killeen.

And here we are today!

So far, I've visited 5 Killeen restaurants and one out in Temple with 6 different vibes and food choices.
