1 Dead, Several Injured After Charter Bus Carrying Texas Students Crashes into Ravine
KWTX's Christina Barron reports that a charter bus carrying students from Houston for a school trip flipped after falling into a ravine off Interstate 10 near the Alabama-Florida state line early Tuesday morning.
WKRG-TV reports that the driver of the bus was killed, and anywhere from 12 to 20 people have sustained injuries. Local hospitals reported several people in critical and serious condition.
According to FOX News, the bus was carrying 45 passengers from Channelview High School, and was returning from a band trip to Disney World in Florida.
