Community Raising Funds for Family of South Belton Middle School Student

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to aid the family of a Central Texas girl who recently passed away.

The fund will help Esmay Lopez's family pay for her funeral services. We received the following message about the fund Saturday:

A student from South Belton passed away after an asthma attack. Help is being asked for the funeral and memorial service...and any other bills. Imagine how much can be raised if each household donated between $5 to $10 in our neighborhood!! Please consider donating, even a small amount. I don't know the girl but I know the SBMS teachers and students are hurting. Let's help show some love from us! We are all Belton and we all look out for one another ❤
