The Krist Kindl Markt Charity Pageant is a charity event with proceeds benefiting the American Alzheimer’s Association. It's part of the project of Young Miss Five Hills Emily Kimball and in honor of her Grandma, Tru.

Pageant winners get custom made crowns and double satin embroidered banners, and will also ride in the Copperas Cove and Killeen Christmas Parades.

Vendors are also needed, and all details are available on the Five Hills Scholarship Pageant Facebook page in the events section or by emailing   kristkindlpageant@gmail.com.

More holiday fun to know about includes the 58th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 11 happening in downtown Killeen. All the festivities will get started at 1pm and will include the community's best companies and organizations serving up candy to all of the children.

Also coming back for its 25th year is BLORA's Nature in Lights. This 5-and-a-half mile drive is lit up by a Christmas light display that is well worth the cost of admission. Get all the details, including directions, HERE.
