Copperas Cove ISD Bus Driver Goes the Extra Mile

People tend to forget the school bus driver unless there is a problem getting the kids to and from school on time. So let's take a minute to thank Copperas Cove ISD bus driver Jerry Martin.

Copperas Cove ISD LOVES their staff. It's easy to see why. Jerry has a regular bus route in Copperas Cove and noticed that one of the stops on his route was in front of a vacant home in one of the Cove neighborhoods. Those responsible for the property have been neglecting to keep up the lawn causing the students to have to wait in tall grass and weeds when waiting for the bus. Not on Jerry's watch.

The driver took the extra time to head over to this particular bus stop with a lawnmower and make the situation a whole lot better. Let's hear it for yet another Central Texas resident who cares about our kids. Thanks for looking out for them Mr. Martin.
