Florida Woman Blames Cocaine in Purse on ‘Windy Day’

Police officers are used to be lied to by nervous or defiant suspects, but how many have heard a whopper like this?

WPLG-TV reports that a woman riding in a car stopped for swerving in Florida back in late March was found to have marijuana and cocaine in her purse.

26-year-old Kennecia Posey didn't deny the pot was hers, but insisted that she knew nothing about the cocaine.

According to a police report, Posey told police, "I don't know anything about any cocaine. It's a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse."

Police weren't convinced, and Posey was taken to jail and charged with a felony count of cocaine possession and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
