Harker Heights Family Displaced by Mobile Home Fire

Firefighters battled an early morning fire at a mobile home park in Harker Heights Thursday.

HHFD responded to a call about a shed ablaze just off Amy Lane in the Pleasant View Mobile Home Park. The first unite arrived around 4 a.m. to find that flames had spread to a nearby home.

The fire was quickly put out and the family living in the home escaped safely. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
