Sorry Texas, Japan Gets Exclusive Dr Pepper Treat at Burger King
If you have a goal to try everything Dr Pepper, better grab your passport for this one.
Burger King Announces Exclusive Dr Pepper Float
Well, looks like our friends over in Japan get to try a new ice cream treat at Burger King locations. According to X's translate feature, the post reads as follows?
Dr Pepper's popularity is on the rise in America Sales start from Friday, July 26th! With over 20 different flavor blends, you'll be hooked after drinking it three times! Be sure to try this delicious float, which combines an ice-cold drink perfect for a hot day with smooth soft-serve ice cream!
Can You Get This In America?
According to Burger King's website, they do not offer floats in the dessert section. If you head to their drink's section, you will find Dr Pepper and Frozen Drinks (which is more of a slushie type drink). Still, no floats in America. According to a post on Reddit, if you ask nicely, some workers will still do it for you. You will be charged for a soft serve cup and a medium drink. You could also make this yourself by ordering the two things separately.
Is Dr Pepper Big in Japan?
According to searches online, outside of Tokyo, it is very hard to find this soda in Japan. I'm not sure why this is a Japanese exclusive and not something targeted here in America as well. Come on Burger King, you say we can have it our way all the time. We want Dr Pepper floats without having to get a passport.
