John Carter Is On The Wrong Track With Immigration

As an immigration hardliner, I talk about it a lot, and sometimes
wonder if other conservatives are with me. You are. As much as I
like Congressman John Carter – I have not approved of his current
position on immigration – as part of the House version of the Gang of
Eight. Monitoring our show, Congressman Carter’s Washington aide,
John Stone called and we kept him on for most of an hour. When we got
to phone calls, it wasn’t pretty. Callers wanted to know why the
Congressman would do a media tour with Luis Gutierrez – a big liberal,
open borders guy. And they wanted to know why Congressman Carter
would trust the Obama administration to secure the border. If you
heard the calls and thought they were tough, you should have seen
emails. Congressman Carter has been a reliable and strong
conservative, but he’s on the wrong track here – and his top aide got
the message -- from you.
