Killeen Announces July Precautions

The city of Killeen has several notices residents should be aware of for the next few days.

4th Street, from Sprott Street to Green Avenue, will be closed sporadically from July 1 to July 3. Traffic will be routed around the work zone, and use of alternate routes is encouraged.

On July 2, city crews will be replacing a fire hydrant. A boil water notice will be issued in the areas around 901 Trimmier Road and from 112 to 809 Collins Avenue. The notice will begin at 7 a.m.
