The Killeen Ellison Eagles will be looking to fill a void in 2018 as their head football coach, Trent Gregory, who led the football program for five years, is retiring.

When Gregory first took the program over, the team was in the midst of a long losing streak. Gregory's first season with the team sang the same tune as the team went through the season without a win.

The second season with Ellison was a better result, and the Eagles finished out the season with two wins. Over the next two seasons, the team would have back to back seasons with six wins, but would still miss the playoffs.

This past season, Gregory finally got over the hump and made it to the postseason despite having just five wins. Unfortunately, the Eagles would suffer a defeat in the Bi-district round, and end the season with a 5-6 record.
