Killeen PD Regan Rollins’ Story is Nothing Short of Inspiring
Townsquare Media is proud to recognize Regan Rollins of Killeen as our Hometown Hero. Rollins' story is one of strength of will and determination. Born and raised in Killeen, she watched her mother work as a police officer for Harker Heights (active for 35 years). She followed her mother's footsteps and has been a Killeen police officer for almost 10 years.
"She is my role model," said the Ellison High graduate, who will be getting married to David Vanvalkenburg soon.
She is an inspiration to her sister Taylor and all breast cancer survivors.
Her journey was not an easy one, either. In her early years of field training, Regan was struck with Stage 2 Breast Cancer at the age of 27. She worked through her surgeries and chemotherapy and made it through her battle.
"Her courage and determination is why she's my hero," said Loretta Fox who nominated Regan. "She is an inspiration to her sister Taylor and all breast cancer survivors."
Teleperformance and Townsquare Media are proud to recognize this woman as a Hometown Hero and present her with the Hometown Hero certificate of appreciation and a $50 gift card to Pignetti’s Italian Restaurant.

Townsquare Media acknowledges a Hometown Hero every 1st and 15th of the month.
