I’m Lynn Woolley with your Logic Minute for 4/1/13

Conservatives have a lot of work to do to catch up to liberals on
language.  Of course, liberals also run most of our media – so they
have a lot of help.  So when you read about the extermination of an
unborn child, it’s cast as “pro-choice” or, even worse, “abortion
rights.”  Our side is characterized as “anti-abortion.”  This is a
tactic of the Left.  Cast the killing of an innocent in a positive
light.  We should demand that the media use OUR terms – not theirs.
If they prefer “abortion rights,” then our side should be using the
term “life rights.”  Over on the homosexual agenda, the term “marriage
equality” seemed to come out of nowhere.  And now, all the media uses
it.  And doesn’t it sound great?  So how about, for the unborn child,
we insist on the term “birth equality.”  Of course, we can’t make the
media use our terminology the way they cooperate fully with the Left.
But we can use it and we should.
