I’m Lynn Woolley with your Logic Minute for 5/10/13

Is it possible for a cable news network to have a hobby? It seems to
have happened with CNN. The Number Three news network has become
obsessed with the story of the kidnapping of three women in
Cleveland. The story would make a TV movie – but nigh on to twenty-
four hour coverage gives us the same information about every ten
minutes. But Anderson Cooper is stationed in Cleveland and shows no
signs of leaving. The Benghazi story – of supreme importance – got
short shrift on all the networks. Of the three, CBS was best on the
day of the hearings – but their reporter, Sharyl Attkinsson, is
reportedly in trouble – for doing TOO much on the story. Benghazi may
ultimately be the story – not just of incompetence in government – but
of the dangers of left wing academics actually running things – and
putting their left wing theories into operation. Meanwhile, CNN is
still in Cleveland.
