McGregor ISD has begun a mask mandate.

For the next seven days McGregor ISD will be implementing a mask mandate for all staff members and students in the district. The mask requirements will last until September 14th.

With the rise of COVID cases in the district McGregor Superintendent James Lenamon says “Thank you in advance for your cooperation. I join you in hoping that this temporary step will be short lived,”

With a three stage plan to prevent the increase in numbers staff members and parents are working together to get back to stage 1. As the number of cases decrease the faster the district can go back to stage 1. In an effort to keep parents informed the district has added  a COVID-19 FAQ's page, The districts dashboard is color-coded with decisions such as school's closing and future updates.

As updates continue to roll in the district will update the website.

Be safe and mask up.
